For men considered sterile, hope remains!

At Viera Fertility Center, we’re happy to report that a microsurgical technique credited with revolutionizing treatment of men once thought to be infertile now makes fertility possible.

The procedure — microdissection testicular sperm extraction, or micro-TESE — enables the surgical harvesting of one or more sperm cells from a patient whose semen contains no measurable sperm count, a condition known as non-obstructive azoospermia.

This means that for men considered sterile, the birth of a biological child may still be possible with micro-TESE and Melbourne IVF treatment. No matter what your fertility history, the team at Viera Fertility Center can work to maximize your chances of successful conception and the family of your dreams!
