Diran Chamoun, MD

Dr. Chamoun relocated to Brevard County in 1996 after completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania State University and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at University of Maryland. He founded the first and only infertility practice in Brevard County and introduced in vitro fertilization in 1999. Dr. Chamoun is currently the medical director of Viera Fertility Center, in Melbourne. He provides families with personalized care and state of the art resource for reproductive care.

Dr. Chamoun has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of various endocrinologic and reproductive disorders. His interests include general infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, recurrent pregnancy loss and assisted reproduction. He also specializes in minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.

Dr. Chamoun is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). He has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals and has lectured at national meetings.
